Our vision / manifesto / what we do
Founded and Directed by designer-maker Elena Corchero, Lost Values holds the vision of innovating craft by melding it with technology and vice versa, to inspire a future where design is environmental and emotional yet smart and playful. Qualities that she believes are important aspects of life but are being forgotten in the quest for faster and more convenient products.
We are an ethical design group interested in near-forgotten things - in traditions and rich, cultural expressions. But we are also
fascinated with technology, and strive to uncover new and sensitive ways to integrate it into everyday
life: to allow such cultural expressions to remain relevant and contemporary, but still steeped in culture
and tradition.
We hope to develop products which are meaningful, which will be treasured and cared for, and never
discarded or simply consumed. We consider it to be as much a question of sustainability as it is of
design.
We strive to be environmentally conscious in our work, but we also observe that many of the lost
values which we hope to recapture, are best achieved by sustainable means - for example, we make
all of our main pieces to order, so craft and personalization are made possible, but in doing so we can
also cut down on waste and consumption.
As well as our core design team, we welcome guest designers and anyone who can help us to
achieve our goals.
Lost Values is at home in the Scottish Highlands and is the first Spin off from Distance Lab.

Terms and Conditions
- Pricing & Ordering Information
- Prices displayed on our site are in £ sterling (including Vat). We reserve the right at any time, to modify, alter or update store item information and prices. We accept the following credit / debit cards and payment methods:

- Solo
- Cheque
Payment will be debited from your account before your order is dispatched.
By placing any order with us you have agreed to our Terms and Conditions. However, you will only have entered a binding contract once we have sent confirmation of receipt of your order either by email or in writing and providing that the conditions of any relevant promotional offers have been complied with. Lost Values reserve the right to cancel any orders that do not comply with the conditions of promotions and offers. If such a situation arises you will be fully refunded.
You will receive confirmation of your order by way of a reference on email. We reserve the right to refuse any order.
The website will be updated from time to time and therefore may have changed when you come to place an order. Whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of information about each of our items on our online store please be aware that errors can occur. You are advised to check all details carefully before submitting your order to us.
In order to cancel an order before we have dispatched it, please contact us immediately by confirming in writing on an email. Any payments made will be refunded to you into the account originally charged.
- Returns Policy
- You are entitled to return ordered goods within 1 week of receipt unless they have been customised. The returned goods must be unused and in the same condition as they were when dispatched by Lost Values. If you wish to return goods please email us to say which items you wish to return. When returning goods we recommend that you post them using recorded delivery and we will then refund the cost of the goods, excluding the postage charge, within 14 days to the account originally charged provided the goods have been received in satisfactory condition. You are liable for the costs involved in returning unwanted goods to us.
If you receive any damaged goods please contact us immediately. You will be offered a replacement or a full refund.
- Delivery
- We deliver Worldwide and dispatch orders once payment has been received, and as soon as they are produced, each product has a set production time especially when being customized. If you have not received you order within 5 days in UK and 28 days overseas of receiving confirmation of dispatch please contact us by email. We will trace your order and try to ensure that you receive it as soon as possible. We are not liable for any loss incurred by late delivery.
- Online Store
- All products featured on the Lost Values website are subject to availability. If any products you have ordered are out of stock you will be notified and offered to accept alternative products or to cancel your order. Any payment that you have made to us will be fully refunded.
- Data Protection
- Lost Values does not share personal data with anyone except where necessary during the processing of your order or if we are required to do so by law. We may send you email notifications of Special Offers however you will always have the opportunity to request to be removed from our mailing list.
- Our Terms & Conditions
- Access and use, by you, of our site and online store constitutes your acceptance of our terms and conditions.
